Life has been somewhat eventful in the past month and a half and I have been slacking in the area of our blog lately. But we have had some wonderful things that we have been apart of lately so I thought we would do a "catch up" blog. Is that allowed? Well, I'm gonna share anyways. I thought I would share some of my favorite moments and pictures of the past few weeks... Have I told you I LOVE TAKING PICTURES???
Aubrey Rose turned 1. Our dear friends Blake and Cherie's little girl turned 1. We have had the privileged of doing life with the Smittcamps for over 10 years and it is simply amazing to watch how God blesses our families with new babies and birthdays. Cherie (and Blake) did such a great job of decorating and hosting Aubreys birthday. What a creative creative ladies is she. (I wish I had taken more pictures of that) But this is the best picture I've got. Aubrey is top left in this picture. She could possibly be the sweetest, smiley, joyful little girl I have ever meet. We love you Blake, Cherie and Aubrey Rose.

Its Spring and that means the ZOO! We have taken a few trips in the past couple weeks. Logan loves the zoo. Her favorite animals are the Elephant and Prairie Dogs. Here are pictures from two of our trips with the Scalzos and Smittcamp Girls and a trip with Noni. Grace and Logan are feeding the Giraffes in the bottom one.

Grandpa Dave and Grandma Vivian (Trav's grandparents) came to visit on their way home to Oregon. We had a wonderful dinner and played a few hands of Pinochle. Trav and I need a little more practice together if we ever want to compete with Grandpa Dave and Grandma Vivian. I guess they have a few years on us. Lolo loved the time with her great-grandparents.

Logan started School. Kind of. She started a two hour Mommy and Me toddler class at Fresno Montessori. So far we have missed a few classes due to sickness. But I thought they were cute first time pictures. Logan's teacher is Ms. Donna. She thinks she is pretty nice. Check the fake smile. Nice Logan.

Here are some of my favorite pictures of my family from Easter that I thought I would post. Those are some good looking people.

Two weekends ago we had our Selah Womens Retreat at Hume Lake. It was a blast to get to know the ladies on the planning team and then attend the retreat. Thanks Trav for letting be apart of it and watching our little girl while I went and "Selah-ed".

Lastly, this past weekend Nana (Tana, Trav's mom) came to visit from Oregon. On Monday when Logan and I took her to the Airport, Logan was determined to watch Nana, "fly in the air plane". So we sat in a field and watched a plane, (not Nana's cause Nana wasn't leaving for another hour and a half) take off. I am pretty sure she talked about it for the rest of the day. It was pretty fun to watch it to be honest. It was fun to slow down and watch something that amazed her so much. Nana, she did say though...that you didn't wave to her. I told her she would have to talk to you about that. :) Nana and Grandma spoiled Logan with a new toy this weekend. She loves it.
