Day 13: And The Angels Rejoice... (and her Mommy)

One little girl made a decision today that will change every fiber of her being. She will never be the same. She will no longer search for hope. She has found Him. She WILL  fall, laugh, crawl, rejoice, and stumble along the way, but now she will no longer do any of it alone.

(Incase you can't read what she wrote it says "Jesus is in my heart. Logan 1-13-11")

For the past couple weeks Logan has been very interested in reading her The Beginner's Bible: Timeless Children's Stories book. It's an awesome one. My favorite that I have come across.  So today we made it all the way through her little bible. She had all sorts of great questions like, "Why did they kill Jesus? " and "Is Jesus in Heaven?"

For months we have been talking about the things of the Lord and how one would enter into a relationship with Jesus. Well today, Logan wanted to make a commitment to Jesus. We prayed, asked for forgiveness for our sins and thanked Jesus for dieing for us on the cross for our sins so that we may be with Him someday.

It was such a tender moment. I'm thankful the Lord allowed me to be apart of it. So we documented it with a little note to remember the date (an idea I got from a friend) and then made a cake to celebrate Logan's spiritual birthday.

What a sweet day.

What a precious, precious day! Yay Logan! And how wonderful to know as a mommy that her heart is spoken for! BTW: do share what is on the paper!
Love,
